How to use our White Kaolin Clay
It’s oh-so-simple. You can get all the benefits of Kaolin Clay by using your Kiika clay mask just twice a week. Once for drawing out all the nasties from bacteria, toxins, and pollution in the environment (expect these to surface in the first use). And next, to keep your pores dirt-free and clean, promoting clearer, brighter skin that’s smooth to touch.
With each use, simply:

Take a small amount of powder (about a 5c piece will do) and add in a few drops of water to make a white liquid paste. *Add as much water as you need to create the consistency you prefer.

TWO
Apply to make-up-free skin, gently smoothing out evenly all over the face except the eye and mouth areas.

THREE
Allow to dry for 15 minutes. Once you begin to feel the mask tighten on your skin, wash off with a warm damp cloth. Breathe in that beautiful lemon myrtle scent and exhale negativity… your skin is now beautifully refreshed.

Can those with normal skin use a clay mask?

Does clay tighten your skin?
You may have heard that one of the stunning benefits of a clay mask ritual is the minimised appearance of your pores. Will my skin break out when I use this?
As with all face masks that are designed to draw out the nasties and deeply cleanse the skin, you may experience a temporary purging phase with your first use. This means that your mask is truly working. In the days ahead you can expect your skin to clear up and be cleaner, smoother, and brighter than ever. To maintain this fresh, clean look, we advise using your mask twice weekly.
Should I moisturise after a clay mask?
For the most supple, hydrated skin, we recommend following up your Kaolin clay mask with a light natural moisturiser and/or toner. Feel free to add any hydrating serums like Vitamin C or Hyaluronic Acid that will lock in moisture and revitalise your cleansed face with a boost of antioxidants.
